Local Market Tour and Private Tapas Class

Visit a local market for the ingredients first, then learn to make Spanish tapas in a private hands-on class with your group.

Discover the market before you cook

The market visit gives context to the dishes you will prepare later. Your chef introduces seasonal produce, seafood, cured meats and cheeses while explaining how local cooks shop, with time to taste selected products and choose ingredients for the class. Markets are working public spaces, so the exact route and tastings may change with opening hours, season and availability.

Then take the ingredients into the kitchen

After the market, your group continues to the cooking space to prepare the tapas step by step, make sangria and finish Crema Catalana before dessert.

Tapas are a style of eating as much as a list of dishes. Your chef explains how small plates are shared, how regional ingredients shape the recipes and how a balanced tapas menu moves between vegetables, seafood and meat. Everyone helps prepare, cook, plate and taste. We don’t publish a menu for our tapas classes because it is always changing based on the availability of seasonal ingredients. We think freshness is essential and we let that guide our choices. That being said, if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences for meats or seafood, let us know and we can adapt any tapas class to what you like the most.
